Introduction

Hello dearies!

My name is Hannah and this is my blog. It's nothing really special, but I wanted to preserve the next years of my life somewhere where I could look back on all the memories that I had forgotten or wanted to reminisce over fondly and all that yak. So that's what this is: The Life and Times of Your Average College Student

I'll try to include as many pictures as my phone will allow me to take, to help in the documentation of college life.

Hmm, I guess I should include things about me maybe?

Uhhh, let's see, do I even have interesting things about me? I like music, mostly alternative and rock music, but I do have a soft spot for country and indie. Imagine Dragons is pretty snazzy if I do say so myself. Errrrrrr, I also like drawing, I'm pretty decent at it. I like anime, so that's sort of what I end up drawing the most.

I have a tumblr: ask-cherry-bear. You guys should check it out. I don't have a specific set of things that I post; usually I just like things and occasionally upload art.

OOH! I'm a big Homestuck fan. I'm also a part of the superwholock fandom, although I'm not crazy, I swear.

I love reading; I have a pretty good book collection at home that I couldn't take with me to college...  :(

Writing is my favorite past time, hence, the blog idea.

I graduated from Conway Christian and now currently attend Hendrix, where I'm hoping to double major in Aerospace Engineering and Chemistry. My goal is to work for NASA or the military in the future.

I want to see the world; I grew up in central Arkansas my entire life, only leaving to go to a handful of states surrounding it. The farthest I have ever been from home would be a tie between Chicago (senior trip), Washington D.C. (school trip; I got to see the Obama sworn in this year) or Marathon (It's this little island at the bottom of the Florida Keys that my aunt used to take us too as kids). I really love travelling outside of Conway, I feel like it's just too small of a town and I've done basically everything I can do here. Don't get me wrong, country hills and deciduous forests are beautiful, and I love the natural beauty that my state has to offer, but I want to get out and go somewhere new every day. I want to see whatever there is out there in the great wide world and see the different kinds of people that it holds. I want to see seas and sand and architecture that isn't what I'm used to. I want to go on adventures! I want to learn and discover and be a part of something bigger than just little Conway Arkansas.

Oh, and one last little thing about me really quick that's probably the most important thing about me.
I grew up in church for the better part of my life, but after moving from an even smaller town to where I live today, I didn't do much in the way of religion. I also spent the majority of my school life in public schools before transferring to CCS in the 8th grade. Ever since, I've grown deeper in my faith and understanding of what it really means to be Christian. So there will be mentions of God and my own personal beliefs here and there, and hopefully more than that, if that will bother any of you.

I really hope it doesn't.
