End of Day 3

So the sun sets (like two hours ago, but shh) on Day 3 of College Life. Today was a little bit less fast paced. We got our schedules! Well, tentative schedules. So mine is sort of confusing and a pain, since I found out I had to take Physics, which meant I couldn't take Psych... :/ But this is my tentative schedule for the fall:

MWF-
Chemistry 1                8:10-9
General Physics 1       9:10-10
Calculus 1                   10:10-11

Lunch

Stupid Freshmen Class I Have To Take #1    12:10-1

T-
General Physics Lab    8:10-11

Th-
Stupid Freshman Class I Have To Take #2     10:10-11

Lunch

Calculus 1 (2nd meeting time)                         12:10-1
Chemistry Lab                                                  1:10-4

So yeah, that's my schedule. Not fun, especially for a freshman. Everyone that isn't going into pre-med, pre engineering, or science field has random classes so they can see what they want to do or just have fun. And this is what I get to do. Oh the joys of wanting to major in both Chemistry and Aerospace Engineering! Anyway, I'm going to make this a quick run through because I have a second post detailing my thoughts on something we did/discussed today, and then I have to take a shower before I go to sleep. Without further ado then!

I woke up with Emma around 7:50 and went to eat breakfast with Zac and Trevor. There, I met a new friend Sammi. She's super sweet and lives over in Couch. We all ended up sitting around until like 9:30 in the caf talking; we were the last people to leave!!!! >..> From there we went over to couch where they decided to play Apples to Apples while I provided soft background music. Apparently my playing attracted people and before I knew it there was a massive game of Apples to Apples going on (I think there were like 8 people playing and five or six watching too). Mom had texted me around then asking if I wanted to grab lunch with her and dad, which I did. We went to Faby's which is one of the best Mexican places in Conway. I got back, chilled for a bit, then went over to meet with my advisor Mr. Ablondi and got my schedule fleshed out.

From there I think I chilled out in my dorm then headed over to play bingo in the SLTC center with Zac. There I made friends again, this time with a girl named Kelsie who had the best Doctor Who phone case I swear to God. It was the Vincent van Gogh painting of the TARDIS exploding. Her friend Hope was sitting next to her and so I got to meet her. After a while though me and Kelsie were getting bored and were surfing Tumblr, so we decided to leave. On the way back to Raney we saw the white cat that hangs out in front of Veasey, so we stopped to pet it. While we were doing so, two other wonderful cat lovers and Doctor fans stopped and we became friends over our mutual interest in the cat. Their names were Allison and Olivia. We hung out in the Raney lobby where we were then joined by one of the RAs Ally and Emma.

At 5:10 I had to leave to meet with my trip group for dinner. I was a little disappointed. The leader miscounted people, and of course I was the unfortunate kid wandering around the caf looking for them and didn't have a seat to sit in when I finally found them... But it was okay, they pulled up a chair and I got to sit. So we leave for our trip tomorrow at 2, which means you won't be hearing from me until Sunday night or Monday. Anyway, after dinner we had this thing called the Hook-Up, which was basically the standard sexual stuff about being safe and watching out for rape situations, don't call people names who casually like to fuck (i'm sorry mother) whatever walks by them. Actually that's a big exaggeration and I'm being rude. Well, I mean it was the first 20 minutes the whole "don't call a girl a slut for having sex and don't create the social standard that a guy has to have sex with a girl to be a man" thing. Anyway, I won't get into that on this post, that's the next one.

We broke into small groups after that to discuss what we learned, which was awkward, and then went to the SLTC for our "Pizza Wars" which was pizza places around Conway give us free pizza and we pick our favorite. I left that about 11 to head over hear and started writing this, which brings us up to speed with things. Oh! I met two new people, Stina and Rebecca at the Pizza thing when we were all dancing for the last half hour. So that was basically my day.

I'm gonna go ahead and cut this off here so I can get the other post done and take a shower!
