I'm still here

Oh wow guys, it's been a while!! And I mean a while; it's been what? 3 weeks since I last posted anything. Yikes. I know a lot of my family read this to keep up with me, so sorry for the sort of stop. I, unsurprisingly, got really busy.

Thankfully, I finally have time to catch my breath. Well, okay, I've had a lot of times to catch my breath. I just didn't think about updating this blog during any of those times. I finally sat down to do it now cuz I'm waiting for my clothes to wash. I have a lot of clothes to wash too. I've got about 19 minutes left for both of the washers I'm using. Then I have to do the whites.

I have a lot of clothes.

I must look really weird to the people that walk in here, sitting on the laundry room floor on my laptop, playing music.

Anyway, back to the post.

School started. It was...different, to say the least. I have to get up on my own now, which is actually been going pretty well. There was a few days a couple of weeks back where I didn't think I'd be able to, but Emma helped fill in for dad on getting me up. It's been going okay, you could say. I've had a couple of breakdowns in physics and calculus because holy crap college is hard.

I changed my major a few weeks ago.

I decided that physics and calculus are not my friends and that it's a bad idea to major in a subject that employs both everyday. I'm still going to stick with Chemistry.

Maybe.

I know that I definitely want one of the new majors to be in Religion. I'm on the fence about the second one. I'm looking between Chemistry and Psychology, but ultimately, it's what I feel God calling me to. I have a big passion for religion which is why I decided I definitely want to study that.
I also love to figure people out and have always had a love for Chemistry. I'm not going to worry too much about it until junior year though, when I actually have to declare a major!

Hmm what else has happened in my life...?

Ummm, I still haven't made a whole lot of friends. I know I was supposed to, but it's not as easy as everyone thinks it is. A lot of the people I met the first few weeks I haven't seen again, or if I have, they don't really remember. I joined some clubs, but the only one that I know that meets all the time is anime club, which I enjoy a bunch. There's nothing like sitting with a bunch of people you get and who get you and just talking about different shows we've seen and what we love about them. It's great! I also joined the American Chemists Society club, which I'm pretty excited about.

Chemistry guys. It's pretty awesome.

I've been spending a lot of my time either cooped in my room doing homework, at home (which I need to run to after I get off work today and say hi to Oreo and get her fresh water), or with Kayla and Libby at UCA. I know I wasn't supposed to do that either, but when the people you've met at your own college have a tendency to ignore your existence, what else can you do but move on to people that you can count on to hang out with you?

I found a college bible study group! Well, Kayla found it, then asked me to join. It's on Monday nights! I like the people; it's a little awkward though, since I barely know anyone. There's another girl named Hannah there, but she's the complete opposite of me. Pretty out there, but outgoing, charismatic, peppy, the whole works. We do have one thing in common though:

Our unhealthy obsession with boys.

But I mean come on can you blame us for overly admiring some of God's handiwork on the opposite sex. Lawdy, there are so many good looking boys in the world; it's really unfair. .-.

But hey, someone needs to ogle those perfect pieces of creation, am I right? ;)

Anyway, I think my clothes are about done so I can at least move them over to the dryer and go take a shower.

And eat.

I haven't done that yet today.
